Community Support
We are proud to continue a long tradition of community advancement. For more than 150 years we have provided energy, expertise, money and time to Hawkes Bay’s people and institutions. We have helped the arts, charities, school boards, sports clubs, and other not-for-profit organisations.
In recent years we have provided governance experience to the Anglican Church, Art Deco Trust, Birthright, Earth Gardens Charitable Trust, Eastern Institute of Technology, Hawkes Bay Branch of the New Zealand Law Society, Napier Riding for the Disabled, and various School Boards.
Onekawa School Board of Trustees
As part of our community support our staff are on the Onekawa School Board of Trustees.
Napier Community Childcare Trust
Napier Community Childcare Trust is a self-supporting “not-for-profit” organisation whose aim is to serve the community by providing high-quality education and care within an open, safe, supportive environment. Tracey Truman, a Solicitor at Carlile Dowling is a Trustee.
The Presbyterian Church
Tracey Shadbolt is on the Board of Managers at St Columba’s Church in Taradale.
Citizens Advice Bureau
A free service that assists and supports individuals to find pathways to resolve issues. Carlile Dowling is a sponsor and supporter of this organisation.
